MInk Muscles contrast to Humans
Well allthough I have seen the similarities between the Mink's muscles and the human muscles, I have also notice a couple of differences. Mink's muscles are more delecate than the human muscle. While cutting the layers of skin, I accidently cut some parts of muscles off, and I was surprised to see how easily muscle pieces came off. I also have knowledge that minks have more muscles than the human body, even though Mink's bodies are not as large. Minks. alao have a difference in the cheek area as to our cheeks. I have viewed the human smooth cheek muscle and observed that Mink's cheeks are not made of smooth muscle at all. Unless, it is because of the deteroiration of the Mink.

Topic of My Choice
We'll, anatomy and physiology has been pretty good so far, especially the fact that I am accustomed to the recommended class requirements. As of right now, I am learning one of my favorite topics dealing with the muscles. I began an interest in muscles during my freshman year when my teacher Dr.Chow had the class dissect a frog. He taught me all types of muscles and how to locate and identify which is which. For instance, how the calf's consist of the gastrocenimus, solues, and fibularis longus. Or at the thigh, there is the satori us, abductor magnus, adductor longus, and rectus femoris. There are plenty more, however I would really like to dissect an animal an actually use tongs to stretch them and take a look

Blog 11 The Muscle Song
Hearing the muscle song was pretty familiar to me because I have heard a few of the names sung. For instance I have always know that the Latisimis Dorsi was reffering to the back location. Plus I have heard of the these muscles when I disected a frog my freshman year. I would not mind creating a song about anything having to do with anatomy or physiology. However I would make a rhyming, beat boxing tune. I learned that the deltoids help you lift your arm. the sternomastoids help you to rotate your neck, while the pectorals are attached to your humerus and sternum.

10 Entry. Learned About Bone Health
Well since I'am an athlete, there is some knowledge I have learned about bone health. Anyone can contribute to their own bone health by giving bones the nutrition it needs. For instance calcium and other nutrients that hepl sustain bones. However I also learned how taking care of bones become critical whenever there is a fracture or break. A bone must heal stronger than before and in order to have good health when this happens, their should be rules. Therapy is needed to get the blood flowing smoothly once again. A cast is used to help the bone heal quicker and keep it in place.
7th Entry Bone Function Relates to Bone Structure
Bone function really has an effect on the structure. Usually compared to the human body, how we function our body to operate will have a result in our structure. If I work out and maintain a basic diet daily; the structure; or appearance of my body, will change. My body will look much healthier and stronger. Now in bones, it works the same way. If bones change their function or wear down due to lack of calcium, the structure of the bone will change either for better or possibly worse.

5 entry Quote
People think life sciences are not mathematical, drawing on your experiences in class, how is math used anatomy and physiology.
Math can be very closley related to anatomy and phsiology mostly on the basis of variables and functions. Like math, every variable has a function and a job to perform, where in physiology there are body tissues, cells, and organells that each play an important role and carry out a function for the body. Math works in the same ways because functions are needed to make equations work along with graphs, and their are limits and extra status on certain important functions. Physiology and anatomy work in the ways like the characteristics of mathematical solutions.

Scientist from England have done a base research on the benefit of music used during running marathons. They have discovered that music with uptemp rythem can create adrenaline and fearless mind set while racing. Scientist mostly felt that its main benefit for competitivness is that it is used to relax moods and ease temperment. Logically expressing how pop music can help the athlete forget about pain and fatigue. A major example was used for the olympics dipicting how every competitor had some device of music before matches.
Scientist feel that it targets the brain as a messenger that can trick the brain into attempting high standards. What there really trying to say is that it is alike a legal drug for any athlete.

New Parental Test For Down Syndrome.
Over the article I read, it is said that scientist have discovered a non-invasive way to detect chromonal disorders relating to down syndrome. It is basically about how they use a needle to detect it from the uterus, therfor using blood samples that can report any miss carriages or fetus infection. It is a more better way of looking over any abnormal chromosomes or doing it the long way where scientist had to distinguish between maternal and fetal DNA. With this process, they can now count errors in the chromosomes by counting DNA floating around the plasma. Overall it is a efficiant way of preperation and advantage for females who plan to have children and test during thier pregnancies. All the research was done at Stanford University and Lucile packhard hospital in California.

Blog number 3 Fearfully and wonderfully Made
.
The quote is reffering to the greatest creation of the human body. The human body looks very simplistic yet physiology lets viewers see the uniqness of the human structure. Gods facinating work is the ideal living structure of the body functions. From bones, muscles, and all the 11 systems. Plus the formation of DNA because all forms of DNA are found to be the same yet when people are born, each individual is different in look, attitude, and formation of the body. Fearfully and wonderfully made is about DNA and how everything is processed and made.

1st Blog Why I am intrested in Physiology
My name is Chris Perez and I'm a junior attending Alhambra High School. I have always wanted to take this course since my freshman year and well, I'am finally taking it. I'm not a typical math genius so i preferred to take physiology rather than physics reason being that I am more of a science experimenting student. However I decided to take this course feeling that it would benefit myself in the long run. Especially the fact that i am an athlete so knowing the body and its functions can result in healthy activities. The human body amazes, and fascinates me because questions constantly arise about how a human body consistently works. Since i am a human with a body, I should at least have knowledge of how my body changes.
